Job Summary

The Product Sales Specialist will be responsible for outbound sales of KenSmartMed Surgicala and related OT solutions across India. The role demands strong domain expertise in OT/ICU medical devices, proven capital equipment sales capability, and the ability to consistently close complex hospital sales cycles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive pan-India outbound sales for Surgicala OT Integration and related medical device solutions
  • Identify, engage, and develop relationships with: Hospital management, Biomedical departments, OT clinicians and surgeons, Purchase committees and consultants
  • Manage the complete sales lifecycle
  • Lead generation
  • Product demonstrations
  • Technical-commercial discussions
  • Proposal submission
  • Negotiation and order closure
  • Promote value-based selling by articulating:
  • Clinical benefits
  • Workflow efficiency
  • ROI and operational advantages of OT integration
  • Work closely with pre-sales, engineering, and service teams for solution design and deployment planning
  • Build, mentor, and manage a small sales team where required
  • Use CRM tools to manage leads, opportunities, forecasting, and healthy sales pipelines
  • Achieve and exceed annual revenue and growth targets, ensuring consistent year-on-year sales growth
  • Track competitor activity and market trends in OT and critical care technology

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Production output vs target achievement.
  • Rejection rate and quality compliance.
  • On-time dispatch performance.
  • Inventory accuracy.
  • Team productivity and efficiency.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • 6–8 years of hands-on experience in selling OT and ICU medical devices
  • Strong background in capital equipment sales, including : Laparoscopy systems, Surgical cameras, OT lights, ICU equipment
  • Experience in selling Laparoscopic Surgical Devices is a strong plus
  • Proven and consistent track record of closing product sales cycles
  • Experience in managing distributors, direct hospital sales, or hybrid sales models
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver year-on-year revenue growth in previous roles

Preferred Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong OT integration subject knowledge (highly preferred)
  • Understanding of hospital workflows, OT environments, and clinical processes
  • Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple, value-driven manner
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Comfortable with travel across India
  • Strategic mindset with strong execution capability
